SW series Impedance Tubes for the accurate measurement of sound absorption coefficients and impedance according to the method described in ISO10534-2 (1998). The impedance tubes are based on the Transfer Function method, which is much faster than the commonly used Standing Wave Ratio method. The SW series Impedance Tubes are specially designed not only for use with customized samples, but also for direct use in the field. The small size of the impedance tube and the durable aluminum construction make the system easy to transport. The system is used to estimate the acoustic properties of walls, ceilings, installed building materials, road surfaces, various ground surfaces, vehicle interiors, etc. BSWA offers a complete set consisting of: the impedance tube, microphones, data acquisition hardware and software.
